Born in 1943, Cecil is a Botswana citizen and has been hunting professionally since 1969 through out Africa.  He comes from family of hunters. Cecil grew up in Maun and Kasane and in the wilds of Botswana.  Cecil has three childern Wayne, Claire and Luke and is a grandfather.  Cecil is a noted story teller around the campfire. His boasts include the number 1 Springbok and Reebuck and an award for a guide with four entries in the top five animals in the record book.  His hobbies include hunting and fishing with his family, horse riding and spending time in the bush camping.  Cecil likes to occupy himself and involves himself in the daily management of the hunt.

A Zimbabwean, Gary was born in Bulawayo1963. Gary is married to Ali and has two daughters. He obtained his Zimbabwe Professional Hunters Licence in 1986 after serving a 2 year apprenticeship with Rosslyn Safaris in the famous Matetsi safari area. Gary hunted full time there for 10 years before moving over to Botswana. He has taken well over 120 bull elephants with clients.

Martin has been hunting professionally since 1992 and specializes in dangerous game.  He was awarded the best Zimbabwe Professional Hunter of the Year in 1996.  Achievements in recent years include the Wally Johnston Award for 1998 and 1999.  Several exception trophies have been a 94 lbs elephant and a lion in the top 10 of the SCI record book.  Martin currently resides in Zimbabwe with his wife Candy, daughter Camryn and son Jason. Part of the year in spent in the US hunting the 777 Ranch. Only good can be said about him.  Martin is an extrovert, has an excellent reputation and a great sense of humor.  He is honest, hard working, dedicated and a very enthusiastic hunter.

Joined Rann Hunting Safaris in 1999.  Russell has been hunting professionally in Zimbabwe since 1986.  Russell has a very board range of hunting experineces. His speciality is elephant hunting having taken over 100 elephants in Zimbabwe and Botswana with clients.  During his hunting career he has recieved numerous awards for his professionalism and trophy quality, including the 1997 Zimbabwe Professional Hunter of the Year award.  Russell is married with a daughter.

A Botswana citizen born 1973 into a family who have been hunting professionally since 1960 (over 40 years). Luke is a fully licensed Botswana professional hunter and has been hunting Botswana since 1991. Luke completed his schooling in South Africa with 6 months in Nature Conservation followed by his 3 years hunting apprenticeship in Botswana. Luke's main interests outside of hunting include farming and fishing. Luke is an avid bow-hunter. He is well liked by clients and is an excellent hunter with a lot of enthusiasm and energy - he knows the wild well and has intimate knowledge of the wildlife and the natural environment. Luke has a pleasant manner and is at home with everyone around him.
Luke's trophies include an 80.4 lb. Elephant (Botswana's biggest for the 1997 season). At present Luke is hunting part-time with Rann Safaris.

Richard, born in South African in 1973, is the youngest full-time professional hunter with the company. Educated in South Africa, Richard spent most of his childhood on the family owned ranch and developed a passion for hunting at a young age. Licensed in Botswana in 1998, Richard has been with Rann Safaris ever since. Richard has a good knowledge of the natural environment and outside of hunting is a keen fisherman who will give most things a try.
Richard greatly enjoys the bird-hunting side of the hunting operation and has a desire to develope the potential of the horseback safaris.

Murray, a 27 year old South African, born and educated in South Africa, has been a Professional Guide the past 10 years operating in Botswana and the Southern African region. He is very knowledgeable on local fauna and flora. 2001 saw Murray obtain his full Botswana Professional Hunters license and complete his first hunting season with Rann Safaris as a full-time Professional Hunter.
Murray is unmarried at present. He is an easy going and well-liked member of the team who enjoys wing shooting and fly-fishing in his spare time.

A 35 year old South African, born in Zimbabwe, Gavin is a fully licensed South African Professional Hunter with extensive experience in South African hunting which includes several Rhino hunts in the Natal Parks Board Controlled Hunting Concessions. Gavin has been holding a full Botswana Professional Hunters license the past 5 years. Gavin's activites also include live game capture and relocation in South Africa, traveling, deep sea and fresh water game fishing, spear fishing, scuba diving and hunting.
Recently divorced Gavin will be hunting with Rann Safaris on a limited/part-time basis.
